The Palm Pre has been chugging along since its introduction, although it’s been a bit overshadowed by the iPhone OS 3.0 and iPhone 3G S announcements. Let’s do a quick roundup of news about Palm and the Palm Pre. No, we still don’t know yet when we’ll see a GSM Palm Pre.

One of the most anticipated smartphones for this summer is the Pre from Palm. Palm Pre runs on a brand new operating system, webOS. On April Fool’s Day, Palm announced an expanded early access to its Mojo SDK (Software Development Kit).

Palm is officially saying goodbye to Palm OS. While speaking at an investor conference, Palm CEO Ed Colligan announced that there will be no more new devices running the “classic” Palm operating system.

After a long long wait, Palm is finally ready to unveal their new line of smartphones running the new Nova operating system. Palm will be doing the launch at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas in January. To celebrate, they are inviting you to come along.
