Treo Today works on a Treo

Just in case you read Treo Today via an RSS news reader, or on your desktop/laptop computer, you might not know that we have a mobile version, too. On your Treo smartphone, just visit http://www.treotoday.net with Blazer and you will be automatically redirected to Treo Today Mobile. It’s the same content, but loads faster and looks better on small screens.

SplashBlog was one of the first Palm OS-based applications for uploading text and photos from your Treo to your web server — in effect, a mobile blogging client. SplashBlog was very easy to set up and use, and your blog was hosted on SplashBlog.com Originally developed by SplashData , SplashBlog was sold to Six Apart and eventually became the mobile client for Vox, a new blogging service.

Comparing Mobile Search Engines

AOL Mobile Search

Yesterday, AOL unveiled the latest version of their AOL Mobile Search engine. It has some whizz-bang features (i.e. tabbed results) for Windows Mobile powered phones, which I won’t be able to show (since I have a Treo 650). However, I will compare the AOL Mobile Search with the 3 major search engines : Google, MSN and Yahoo.
