webOS 1.2 for Palm Pre released

Palm Pre smartphone users have something to be happy about today. Palm has released an update for their webOS operating system, version 1.2. The new update comes with bug fixes, enhancements and some new features.
Here are some of the goodies that you get :
- Palm Synergy now includes LinkedIn contact syncing
- support for heterogeneous EAS policies
- ability to filter the emails in the current folder just by typing a search term.
- the ability to download files in the browser. The Amazon MP3 Store can now download songs from either WiFi or WAN.
- Cut and paste Web pages and emails
You can expect an automatic over-the-air update to webOS 1.2 over the next few days, and you can find more info on the update in the release notes on the Palm website.
