What do old-school Palm fans think of the Palm Pre?

With CES a week behind us, Palm is still receiving good coverage on the new Palm webOS operating system and Palm Pre smartphone. For the moment, at least, Palm has been transformed in the media from a has-been to a comeback kid and a contender. We’ve even heard reports that Palm could sell 1.5 million of these babies in the first year.

What do the Palm fans from the old days think of this new smartphone?

Andrew from Treonauts is very clear : there are plenty of reasons to love the Palm Pre smartphone, even coming up with a Top 10 list.

Kris Keilhack from Palminfocenter has a good first impressions write-up on the Palm Pre with plenty of photos. He’s happy with the performance of the Palm Pre : “this thing is honestly Tungsten T3/TC fast, folks, even with a heckuva eye candy festival going on. ”
