Well, it was an interesting night for me, and an interesting morning for a lot of people. Apple held their last ever keynote presentation for the Macworld conference yesterday. There were no surprises, with some announcements on iWork, iLife, iTunes and a new 17 inch MacBook Pro. I stayed up for the keynote (it started at 1 am local time), and blogged about the announcements as they came available.

The interesting thing is that I blogged everything from WordPress for the iPhone. My web host suddenly was extremely slow to load, and I wanted to put out a blog post immediately. WordPress for iPhone came to the rescue, and I managed to do 5 quick blog posts before the keynote was even over.

Here’s what I blogged last night :

iLife ‘09: iMovie, Garageband new features
iLife 09 announced : iPhoto features
iWork ‘09 announced : new Keynote, Pages, Numbers features plus new iWork.com
New 17in Apple MacBook Pro
iTunes update : variable pricing, DRM-free

There were no specific iPhone announcements (ie, no iPhone nano, people). However, the iPhone and iPod touch were featured widely during the Keynote:
- iPhone app as a remote for Keynote presentations
- slideshow sync from iPhoto
- iTunes Store for iPhone is no longer WiFi only, you can also download songs via 3G
