eReader Rewards ebook buyers
For the longest time, I have been receiving weekly email newsletters from eReader. In each newsletter, they highlight the latest ebook releases and promotions. At the end of the newsletter, they usually gave out a promo code which gives discounts on ebook purchases. Based on customer feedback, eReader is changing this mechanism and they are launching a new system called eReader Rewards.
With eReader Rewards, they give you at least 15% of your purchase price back in the form or Rewards Dollars. The more ebooks you buy, the more Rewards Dollars you accummulate. You can use these Dollars to redeem free ebooks or to help pay part of some ebook purchases.
I think this is a great way to encourage customers to buy more ebooks — hopefully the prices remain competitive.
