Quick tip: save images from the web to your iPhone
It has been a few weeks since I updated my first generation iPhone to the new version 2.0 operating system. I’m still discovering new features every few days. One new feature which I want to share is the ability to save images from the web directly into your iPhone.
While browsing the web with Safari on the iPhone, you may come across images that you want to keep. All you need to do is press and hold the image. The iPhone will then give you an option to open the link (if there’s one) or save the image. The image will be saved into your Photos app, under the Camera Roll category. Simple enough?
I’m using this feature more and more, in conjunction with WordPress on the iPhone. This makes mobile blogging very easy for me.
