Apple iPod touch 16 GB with Software Upgrade

I love ebooks, and I love the iPhone. For the longest time, I was very frustrated because of how difficult it was to get books on the iPhone. The desire to read Cory Doctorow’s latest work, Little Brother, drove me to dig a little deeper and I am happy to say that it’s actually not an impossible task! Note that this method should also work with the iPod touch.

iPhone to appear everywhere

With just 1.7 million iPhones sold last quarter, Apple has a long way to go to reach their target of 10 million iPhones this year. Apple started slow and steady with the iPhone, announcing exclusive deals with mobile operators in only a handful of countries so far. Today, you can legally purchase the iPhone in the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Ireland and Austria. That’s about to change : in the past few days, both Vodafone and America Movil has announced multiple-country, non-exclusive deals for iPhone distribution.

It must be very difficult to be a Palm OS developer right now. We know that the current Palm OS is old and tired, and just waiting to be retired. The new Palm OS won’t be running on any devices until next year. In the meantime, a very healthy mobile application industry has emerged, with a lot of choices in terms of devices, operating systems and application frameworks. What’s the best way to go? Palm OS, Windows Mobile, Symbian, Android, iPhone?
