Apple iPhone versus Blackberry Bold

May 23, 2008 – 8:11 am | by Azizi

If nothing else, the iPhone from Apple can be credited for shaking up the design of modern mobile phones. Since the iPhone was released, just about every major phone manufacturer has stepped up their quality in terms of design and usability. Two anticipated phones are the Blackberry Bold and Sony Ericsson Xperia 1.

The iPhone Blog has photos and a video comparing the iPhone and the Blackberry Bold. I have to say the Blackberry Bold looks very impressive. It has the same screen resolution of the iPhone (480×320) but also sports a full QWERTY keyboard. The Blackberry Bold is a bit wider and slighty thicker than the iPhone. Looking at the video, the user interface looks quite responsive.

The Blackberry Bold has similar specifications to the iPhone, and compares well. I think if you compare the Treo 800 or Treo 850 against the Bold, the Treos would not rate as well.
