Apple iPhone Aircraft Aluminum Metal Case - Bundled with Full Frontal Touch Screen Protector Shield - Available in 5 Color Choices

We now have a few more clues about the case of the missing 1 million Apple iPhones. In this article from Instat, apparently there are at least 400,000 iPhones in use in China at the end of last year. The information comes from China Mobile, China’s largest carrier. Considering that this number is 10% of total iPhones sold, this is big news indeed. Official talks between Apple and China Mobile have not been fruitful so far. If an unlocked iPhone can sell so well, imagine how an officially supported version would do.

So, where did the rest of the 1 million iPhones go?
