Right on schedule as rumoured, Palm and AT&T announced the availability of the Centro smartphone. You can have the white version now and the black version will be available next month. A while back, I ranted about how eReader Pro for Windows Mobile was free, while the version for Palm OS had less functionality and cost money. Well, that’s fixed now. eReader Pro is now free for all platforms. eReader (the company) was recently bought over by ebook retailer Fictionwise. This is most welcome news indeed. For Palm OS, eReader Pro includes the ability to read dictionaries and autoscrolling. For Windows Mobile, it includes the ability to browse and purchase ebooks over the air.
