The update is (finally) here! The new software update (version 2.11) for the AT&T version of Treo 680 smartphones is now available for download. This delayed update was supposed to be delivered along with the recent Windows Mobile 6 for Treo 750 update. This latest Treo 680 update also incorporates three previously released software updates: Treo 680 Camera Update (January 2007), Daylight Saving Time Update (February 2007), and Treo 680 Software Update 1.09 (May 2007).

The Internet has seen many many websites come and go. When it comes to longevity, not many websites can survive. Looks like the Apple iPhone is doing just fine in Europe. Although O2 in the UK cited “hundreds of thousands” of iPhones sold, they never released any real figures so far. In France, Orange has sold 30,000 iPhones in the first 5 days. 20% of these, interestingly enough, are unlocked. Almost half of the iPhone buyers are new to Orange.
