Blackberry maker RIM doubles revenues
December 21, 2007 – 3:02 pm | by AziziWhile Palm is struggling with its financial position and product releases, its longtime rival Research in Motion (RIM) is doing extremely well. The Blackberry maker sold more than 3.9 million devices in the last quarter, which is 17 times more than Palm. I have to say RIM has introduced very attractive models this year, including the GSM BlackBerry Curve and the consumer-friendly BlackBerry Red Pearl. RIM has continued to do well in the business (small business and enterprise) market, an area where Palm was once quite strong.
