Kindle: Amazon\'s New Wireless Reading Device

Way back before they bought Palmsource (and the Palm OS), ACCESS was a little-known company that developed web browsers for mobile devices. One of their biggest customers was Sony, which used the Netfront web browser for the Sony CLIE handheld devices. While ACCESS is still having problems getting licencees for its ACCESS Linux Platform (ALP) operating system, it managed to score a deal with Amazon. The Amazon Kindle ebook reader has a built-in web browser that is powered by Netfront 3.3.
