1.1 million iPhones in 3 months

Good news for Apple. They had another good financial quarter, with a revenue of US$6.22 billion. They sold a total of 1,119,000 iPhones. The total number of iPhones sold in the past four months (remember, they sold 270K in 1.25 days in June) is 1,389,000.
Apple is still sticking to its 10 million iPhone projection in 12 months. They need to double their rate of sales to do that, so hopefully Apple will accelerate their plans to launch in more countries. I am also curious to see when Apple will release new models of the iPhone. I chose the Treo 680 over iPhone for financial and practical reasons, but I wonder what Steve Jobs has up his sleeve for Macworld in January.
