Palm and Sprint to introduce Centro on Sept 27?
Palm and Sprint will be doing a joint announcement at the DigitalLife exhibition in New York on September 27th, 2007. The announcement will be probably a new device, the Palm Centro. Earlier this week, we saw a leak on The Morning Paper on some of Sprint’s marketing materials for the Centro.
What we know about Centro so far :
- thinner form factor (similar/identical to the Treo 500?)
- touchscreen
- 1.3 megapixel camera
- Pocket Tunes Deluxe bundled (for Sprint TV and On Demand streaming)
Palm is no stranger to using DigitalLife to introduce new products. The Treo 680 smartphone was introduced at DigitalLife last year.
