Daniel Eran Dilger of AppleInsider has written a great comparative review of the Palm Treo 650 versus the new Apple iPhone. Darren is a former Treo 650 user. This is a very useful review for me personally, as I am seriously considering getting the Apple iPhone as a replacement for my ageing Treo 650.

No, this is not a joke. Thieves broke into an AT&T Store recently. They went for iPhones and for Treos, but left the Blackberries behind. Looks like there’s still hope for the Treo?

First iPhone dropped in the toilet?

There’s nothing quite as heart-stopping as seeing your most trusted gadget dropping into the toilet. I should know. Just two months after the Apple iPhone was released, we heard of the first incidence of the iPhone going down the toilet. The culprit? (or shall we say, the victim) None other than Adam Curry of Podshow.

What is the Treo 500?

Another new rumour of a Palm device just surfaced, courtesy of Palm Addicts. A Palm Addicts contributer from Belgium stated that Palm got a new Treo model approved for the GSM networks. Apparently, a mysterious new device called Treo 500 has been certified for world wide use on 14th August. Whether the Treo 500 is the same as the Palm Centro remains to be seen, although from the numbering the Treo 500 should be a lower end device than the current 680.
