eBook and document readers for your Treo
I read a large number of ebooks on my Treo 650 smartphone, definitely more than the average. The sheer number of document formats supported by various ebook readers for the Palm platform is simply amazing. Fellow Malaysian blogger (and Treo 680 user) Palmdoc takes us through the different ebook readers available for the Palm OS.
Here’s what you can view on your Treo:
- Palm Doc (pdb) and various related formatsĀ (eReader, MobiPocket, iSilo etc)
- zTXT
- RTF
- MS Word
- MS Excel
- MS Powerpoint
- simple text
- HTML
There’s probably more that I missed!
My personal ebook reader of choice is Mobipocket, but most of the readers mentioned in Palmdoc’s article are available for free or have a trial version.
