Apple iPhone versus Palm Treo

With the Apple iPhone reportedly selling over 700,000 units over the first 4 days, Palm has a reason to be nervous.  Especially when you consider that over the last financial period (3 months), Palm sold a total of 750,000 Treo smartphones worldwide.  When we consider that Apple didn’t have any special components in the iPhone (other than the screen), it’s pretty amazing what they accomplished with off-the-shelf hardware.
This doesn’t mean the end to the Treo line, and today we have another iPhone versus Treo comparison, this time from Tim over at PalmInfocenter.   It’s an interesting article, comparing the two phones over 10 items.  Here’s the score :

With the scores tied 5-all, Tim added a tie-breaker : price.  The Treo wins, but it’s a very hotly-contested decision.  As of the time of writing, there are over 100 comments already on the article.
