Altered CarbonI love a good science fiction story. The Takeshi Kovacs trilogy by Richard Morgan is one that I finished reading recently. Each book features the same main character (Takeshi Kovacs), but all 3 books have a different tone and feel. Author Richard K. Morgan has received widespread praise for his astounding twenty-fifth-century novels featuring Takeshi Kovacs, and has established a growing legion of fans.

    Apple iPhone sales : 270,000 in 1.25 days

    Apple has released their latest financial reports for the previous quarter ending June 30th, 2007.  Alongside record shipping figures for Macs and iPods,  Apple revealed the number of iPhones they sold on June 29th and June 30th : 270,000 units.  Considering that Apple only released the iPhone for sale at 6pm on June 29th, and only a few Apple Stores are open for 24 hours, this is a very impressive number indeed.
