Just a day after releasing the long-awaited Maintenance Release for the Sprint Treo 700p smartphone, Palm has pulled it back.  Citing “isolated reports of an installation issue that causes the device to continuously reset when applying the software update”, Palm are currently investigating the issue.  So if you have downloaded the software and haven’t done the update, you might want to hold off.If you have problems with the update, the good news is Palm has opened up a hotline : call 866-750-7256 for assistance.
