Folks down under can now use the 3G/UMTS Palm Treo 750. Palm’s partner in Australia for this Windows Mobile smartphone is Telstra. The Treo 750 supports High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) on Telstra’s Next G network. Expect to pay AUD$1,199 for the Treo 750.

The Treo 680 smartphone is the entry level GSM/EDGE offering from Palm that is currently going around the globe. The latest stop is Guatemala, where Palm’s partner is Claro. Claro Guatemala is a subsidiary company of America Movil Group, and is the largest mobile operator in Guatemala.

He has compiled a very useful list of medical-related software that you can use on your Treo. The best part : all the applications listed are free.
