Treo 680 vs Benq-Siemens P51
February 22, 2007 – 11:31 am | by Azizi![]()
The Benq P50 was in the works for a long time — long before the Benq-Siemens merger, in fact. A while back it was touted as a Treo 650 killer. It came out too late, underpowered and underfeatured. Benq-Siemens hopes to do one better with the P51. The P51 is still not out yet, but PalmAddict contributor Amin Hafez got his hands on a pre-production unit.
Amin has done a good comparison between the Benq-Siemens P51 with the Treo 650’s successor, the Treo 680 smartphone, complete with photos. The Treo 680 wins on form factor (including keyboard) and software, while the P51 scores points on features : WiFi, GPS and a 1.3 megapixel camera.
