Treo 750 smartphone GSM 3G UMTS HSDPA

Folks down under can now use the 3G/UMTS Palm Treo 750.  Palm’s partner in Australia for this Windows Mobile smartphone is Telstra.  The Treo 750 supports High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) on Telstra’s Next G network.  Expect to pay AUD$1,199 for the Treo 750.

Back in the US, Verizon Wireless has finally caught up with Sprint and is now offering the EVDO-capable Palm Treo 700wx smartphone.  The Treo 700wx is virtually identical to its older brother the Treo 700w, but it addresses a critical need for most users : more memory.  The Treo 700wx also uses Windows Mobile 5.0.
