Palm’s partner in Mexico for the Treo 680 is mobile operator Telcel.In Brazil, the Treo 700wx powered by Windows Mobile was launched on Vivo’s 3G wireless network. Vivo is the largest telecommunications service provider in the southern hemisphere.
In the US, wireless carrier Alltel adds the Garnet OS-based Treo 700p to its offerings, joining the Treo 700wx. Alltel now offers both of Palm’s top of the line EVDO smartphones. Expect to pay from US$350, with a $100 rebate for the Treo 700p.
