International news agency Reuters has launched Reuters mobile video, where you can view video clips of the latest news on your mobile phone. At the moment they are supporting only Symbian/Nokia and Windows Mobile phones. This should include the Treo 700w/wx and Treo 750 series smartphones. Reuters Mobile Video offers 3 formats :

- 3GP
- RM (real media)

Looks like there may still be some hope yet for the Cingular version of the Treo 750 smartphone to arrive before the end of the year. Engadget Mobile and Treonauts both report that a demo unit of the Treo 750 have been seen making the rounds at several Cingular stores in the US.

Palm has announced the availability of the new Treo 680 smartphone in France. Palm’s partner in France is Orange France Business Services. Orange is planning on bundling the Treo 680 with their Orange Business Mail offering, targeted toward any business that wants to empower its employees with a mobile connection to their Outlook email, calendar and contacts.

Pocket Tunes is probably the best music player for the Palm OS platform at the moment. The basic version is included with recent Palm PDAs and Treo smartphones, including the Treo 680. Now NormSoft has made Pocket Tunes even better with version 4.0.
