Palm Inc has released their latest quarterly financial results. As mentioned before, Palm’s financial year is very different from the actual calendar year, so don’t worry if the dates don’t seem to make sense. Skipping over the finance parts, here are some interesting highlights :
- Palm sold 617,000 Treo smartphones in the past 3 months, a company record high
- the 3G Windows Mobile Treo 750v smartphone is now available in 14 European and Asian countries (but not in the US … yet)
- the Treo 680 smartphone is manufactured through a China-based partner, enabling Palm to deliver that product to more regions faster.
- Palm plans to offer the Treo 680 on 20 carrier networks around the globe by the company’s fiscal year 2007 end (that’s around June 2007 in real time).
