Use 8GB SDHC cards with Treo 650 and Treo 700p

Since we know that the new Treo 680 smartphone can use the high speed, high capacity SDHC expansion card, it really was a matter of time before our Treo hackers got into the code. There apparently has been some success in transferring the necessary SDHC software drivers from the Treo 680 to the Treo 700p and Treo 650.
What’s so great about SDHC? Well, it can hold up to 8GB capacity at the moment, and there are already a few relatively affordable cards out in the market. For example, you can buy the 8GB 60x Class 2 SDHC Secure Digital Card by Ultra from Amazon at just US$149.
