Palm has updated their Financial Year 2007, Quarter 2 Guidance. In real-life terms, that’s their performance in the three months ending December 1st 2006. The bad news is, Palm is expecting lower revenues. This is blamed mainly due to certification delays for the Treo 750v in the US. However, Palm is still optimistic that they’ll be able to introduce the Treo 750v in the next quarter - hopefully in December.

Palm has launched the new Treo 68o smartphone in the UK. The Treo 680 is available from the Palm Online Store or by calling Palm at 0845-090-0265. As usual, our UK friends are hit with an unfair product price - the Treo 680 sells for GBP299 (US$578). Having lived in the UK for 3 years, I can definitely sympathize.
