Treo 680 initial review round-up

The new Treo 680 smartphone has received good coverage overall from bloggers and the mainstream media. There have been some reports that some Cingular stores have begun to receive (and sell) the new Treo 680. Palm will make the device officially available on 1st December.
Here are some of the latest reviews and impressions:
- LAPTOP Magazine
“… the Treo 680 does the best job of making it simple to juggle voice calls, messaging, the Web, and PIM functions.”
- eWeek
” … the device is a good starter smart phone but insufficient for business users’ needs.”
- Mytreo.net In depth review
“If I were not already a Treo user, the Treo 680 would be a great choice because you can’t get anything comparable for the price, and it offers loads of benefits over a regular phone.”
- Brighthand First Impressions (written on a Treo 680)
“The software, stability, and well thought out-ness of the entire package is just that compelling.”
- Mobility Today (video overview)
Here are some we covered earlier :
- Mobile Review (lots of clear, large photos)
“… The broad audience will be drawn by the all-new modern-looking design of the casing, four color schemes and new advertising campaign.”
- Treo Central
“The 680 is primarily intended for new smartphone users and feature phone upgraders. If you’re one of these people, the Treo 680 is a great match.”
- PalmAddicts
“… the Treo 680 may well be the best device Palm has ever brought to market.”
