Which short Treo antenna is best?

Ever since it was first announced that a third-party Treo replacement antenna was on the works, we have heard of several competing solutions. The antennas (for Treo 600/650/700) seem to be getting shorter and shorter, too. The discussion has been pretty much heated at TreoCentral Forums - the thread (as of this writing) runs 57 pages long!

Treo 680 screen brighter than Treo 650?

Treo 680 vs Treo 650 screen

Andrew of Treonauts has got in his hands not one but two Palm Treo 680 smartphones — one Cingular version, and another the unlocked GSM version. Good news for upgraders : it just took him over 10 minutes to transfer his data from his Treo 650 to the Treo 680. Other interesting tidbits from his Treo 680 review :
- the Treo 680 supports 4GB SD cards
- the Treo 680’s screen is apparently better than the Treo 650. According to Andrew, the new display is brighter, crisper and offers much more vivid colours.
- “the Treo 680 the first truly pocketable PalmOS smartphone to date … the new form-factor design alone should give existing Treonauts a reason to upgrade”.
