Treo 750v on Cingular

If you’re looking to get your hands on the 3G UMTS, Windows Mobile-powered Treo 750v smartphone, you no longer have to wait for Vodafone to roll it out where you live, or wait for their exclusivity with Palm to expire. Apparently the folks at Engadget Mobile managed to get some help from MIGsoft LTD to get their Treo 750v unlocked — they are running a Treo 750v on the Cingular network in the US. The Treo 750v should be able to work with most GSM UMTS networks.

MIGsoft is offering the Treo 750v unlocking solution (it’s a small application that you need to run) for GBP20 (US$38). There are already some people selling the Treo 750v on eBay.
