Documents To Go 9 coming soon
If you have a Palm Treo smartphone, then you most probably have a version of Documents To Go bundled with your device. The latest version of Documents To Go, version 8, adds a very useful feature : it can view PDF files natively on your Treo — no conversions necessary. The good news is that Dataviz has not rested on its laurels and is scheduled to introduce a new version of Documents To Go in the near future.
Here’s what we can expect from Documents To Go version 9:
- File explorer – Fast and easy access to your files.
- InTact Technology™ – Now edit and e-mail your files Natively with no loss of formatting.
- Enhanced Word To Go – View table of contents; view and edit footnotes, endnotes, comments and text boxes.
- Enhanced Sheet To Go – Support for XY scatter plot charting and additional cell formatting.
- Enhanced Slideshow To Go – Now edit PowerPoint files Natively.
- PDF To Go optimized for improved speed.
Right now, Dataviz is offering a free upgrade to version 9 if you buy version 8 of Documents To Go Premium (US$50). At this moment, it’s unclear whether DTG 9 will be bundled with the upcoming Cingular Treo 680.
