Some details on the Treo 680

PalmInsider has published the specifications of the upcoming (rumoured) Treo 680 smartphone. The new phone shares a lot of specs with the Treo 650, although it does have more memory (60MB user accessible) and a smaller battery (probably the same one found on the Treo 750v). The Treo 680 is supposed to be the new low-end Treo, replacing the Treo 650.

Treo 650 lands in Peru with Movistar

The Palm Treo 650 smartphone still has some life in it, despite rumours that it will soon be replaced with the low end Treo 680. One day after the Treo 750v was introduced in Singapore, Palm and Movistar are jointly launching the Treo 650 in Peru. Movistar is the leading cellular brand in Peru with over 4 million customers, although it only began to offer GSM services earlier this year. Last month, another cellular provider Claro launched the Treo 650 as well.

Us Palm folks might have been enjoying Broken Sword:Shadow of the Templars for only the past year or so, but the original PC game has reached its 10th anniversary! The game was originally created by UK games developer Revolution Software.
