BackupBuddy.net Professional Over The Air Backup Solution released
Blue Nomad, the company behind the highly successful BackupBuddy Palm OS backup solution, has expanded their BackupBuddy.net service. The new BackupBuddy.net Professional version allows Palm OS-based Treo users to wirelessly backup and restore their entire Treo, including all third-party applications and data, over the Internet.
BackupBuddy.net Professional offers high compression and end-to-end (AES) encryption of all user-data, which is also stored in an encrypted form on the server. It is also fully customizable, so you can select exactly which files you want to backup and restore as well as featuring several scheduling options.
The coolest function of BackupBuddy.net Professional is called Trickle Backup. Trickle Backup allows BackupBuddy.Net to transparently and continuously backup your files when your Treo is inactive. Trickle Backup does not interfere with the day-to-day use of the Treo and has an insignificant impact on battery life.
BackupBuddy.Net Professional is available as a 12 Month Subscription, which costs US$34.95 USD. It is currently on sale for $19.95.
