The weather’s a funny thing – temperatures are a record high worldwide this summer, but it’s getting really unpredictable wherever you are.  If you have captured some cool or interesting weather-related videos on your mobile phone, here’s another way to share it.  WeatherBug Video is currently in beta and they are looking for submissions.  Their guidelines are pretty simple :

  • video resolution 320 x 240
  • file size up to 25MB
  • video should be AVI, MOV or WMV formats.


At the moment you can only upload videos via an online form.  As the Treo’s video camera saves files in 3GPP format, you do need to do some conversion on your desktop computer before submitting.
