Ditching your iPod for a Treo 700P
Could your Treo replace your iPod? The Palm Treo 700p smartphone already has a better resolution screen than iPods, support for 4GB SD cards, and plenty of RAM. With EVDO, downloading multimedia content directly to your Treo is very workable. Levi Wallach of Twelve Black Code Monkeys has a long article on using the Treo 700p as a multimedia player. He covers many different multimedia software applications for the Treo, including TCPMP and mOcean.
I personally use my Treo 650 as my main audio player. As prices for SD cards continue to fall, adding a GB or two of external memory to your Treo isn’t such as big deal any more. In fact, I just bought a 1GB SD card for just RM99 (US$26) retail.
