T-Mobile Sidekick 3

T-Mobile and Danger, Inc (love that company name) have announced the latest version of their popular instant messaging phone, the Sidekick 3. Slated to arrive in the stores in July, this phone is attracting mostly positive reviews. The new Sidekick 3 is slightly smaller compared to its predecessor, but it packs an enhanced QWERTY keyboard,  Bluetooth 1.2 , miniSD slot, 1.3 Megapixel camera, a music player, and a trackball.  The downside is the display resolution, which is only 240×160.

The flip-top display/keyboard mechanism is still very cool. I guess by now potential users are suitably warned by several high-profile security breaches involving Sidekicks – for example, the whole Paris Hilton photo scandal.
