This is a free download for Palm OS and Windows Mobile-powered handheld devices like the Treo 700p and Treo 700w. If you have GPS capability, you can even spot theaters and showtimes by how close they are to where you are at the time. If your phone or PDA doesn’t have a real GPS signal, Earthcomber still provides GPS-simulation by allowing you to tap the screen to mark your current location.

Palm, Inc has released their latest financial figures – fourth quarter fiscal year 2006. Palm has certainly successfully transitioned from a pure PDA company to a smartphone company – they shipped 623,000 Treos compared to 495,000 PDAs in the fourth quarter. Over the past year, they have shipped 2.3 million Treos compared to 2.5 million PDAs – this year, sales of Treos should surpass PDAs by a significant amount.
