Palm OS Xplore M68 smartphone

Contrary to popular belief, the Palm Treo 650 smartphone is not the only smartphone in the market with Palm OS Garnet 5.4. Another Palm OS smartphone which is marketed to Asian and European markets is the XPlore M68 from GSPDA. Paddy Tan at Palminfocenter has a review.

The Xplore M68 has “candybar” form factor, and has a standard 12-key keypad instead of the Treo’s QWERTY keyboard. The specifications :

The Xplore M68 gets a 4 out of 5 from Paddy:

“The GSPDA Xplore M68 Smartphone is a good buy with its many features including GPRS Class 10, Bluetooth, Tri-band, a 1.3 Megapixel camera and with a standard SD/MMC card slot for external storage too. “

If you can find one, the M68 costs $699 Singapore Dollars (around US$430).
