Opera Mini on the Treo review

Douglas Morse of TreoCentral has a review of Opera Mini, the Java-based mobile web browser. Blazer on the Treo works well, but it’s always good to have alternatives. Opera Mini is small (around 200K) but you do need to install a Java Virtual Machine in your Treo to use it, which sets you back another 2MB in memory.
So how does it perform? Perhaps not as well as expected. Douglas says :
“Opera Mini has a lot of limitations and problems. Opera Mini is primarily for cell phone users with limited resources and limited data time. It is underpowered and underwhelming.”
