Hot off the rumour mill : We may see a new Palm OS Treo from Palm, Inc., and it won’t be the Treo 700p. Instead of doing a Palm OS version of the Windows Mobile Treo 700w, Palm will introduce a a new device called the Palm Treo 800p.

The new device, rumoured to come on March 15, will be thinner and smaller than the current Treo 650 and will have :
- EVDO
- Bluetooth 2.0
- 3.2 megapixel camera
- 320×320 pixel display
- SD expansion
- WiFi option

At first glance it does sound too good to be true, especially with the very early March date. Still, one could hope, right?
