The smartphones show

The Smartphones Show is a brand new video podcast for anyone who’s either just purchased or is about to purchase a smartphone. The show is distributed in Quicktime format, with 320×240 pixel resolution designed to work well on both PC/Mac and video iPods.

The first episode is about 43MB in size, although you can also download a smaller (18MB) 3GPP version which should work under the Media application on your Palm Treo 650 smartphone. Episode 1 covers :

* Introduction to the smartphone world, covering all three smartphone platforms
* Spotlight on the rare Panasonic X700
* Spotlight on the Nokia 9500
* Spotlight on the T-Mobile MDA Vario
* Windows Mobile and Symbian tips

This first episode is a bit rough at the edges, but the content is very interesting and the presenters obviously know their stuff.

The Smartphone Show is brought to you by Steve Litchfield, the man behind 3lib. 3lib was one of the first ever websites devoted to PDAs, and I started following it probably ten years ago when I had a Psion!
