Moleskine vs. Treo 650
Moleskine vs. Treo 650 – fight! Seen from an amateur writer’s point of view, this is an interesting discussion of paper and electronic systems.
Moleskine Notebooks are high quality (paper) notebooks that have been the choice of many great artists and writers over the years.
Janet Tokerud lists down the merits of both “platforms” – e.g. Moleskines are “much quicker startup and shutdown for quick notes” while Treos are “stimulating, (but) may cause eye fatigue compared to paper”, and admits that she uses both.
At work, I do use a paper notebook for things that the Treo is not very good at – for example, drawing large diagrams. I have looked at Moleskines and have passed on them. They may be beautiful, but they are rather pricey.
