This is a horror story for every owner of the Palm Treo 650 smartphone, albeit one with a happy ending. PalmAddict Associate Writer Evan Light accidently left his Treo 650 in a washing machine.

The good news is, the Treo 650 survived. Evan says : “much to my surprise, I popped out the battery, popped it back then, and my 650 rebooted!”

So the Treo 650 is durable enough to survive a dunking, but I hope all Treo 650 owners are more careful with their investment!
