13 GB SD Card

Andrew of Treonauts has a whopping 13GB of storage for his Palm Treo 650 smartphone.

The 13GB is spread across SD (Secure Digital) 9 cards and add up to quite a lot of money invested (US$1300).

I only have less than 1GB total (one each of 64, 128, 256, and 512 cards) for my Treo 650. I find that I mostly use my Panasonic 256MB cards because of the speed – it can run MP3, applications and movies with hardly a hiccup.

I’m still waiting for prices to fall further before justifying a 1GB or 2GB card purchase – or even 4GB! Currently Palm has not announced official support for cards larger than 4GB.
