YoMoney has an interesting article about HTC, the company behind the Palm Treo and many of the latest and greatest Windows Mobile-powered smartphones.

HTC has 3,400 employees and brings in US$1.2 billion of revenue by designing and manufacturing smartphones for companies like Palm, HP, Audiovox and also mobile operators.
