The Blazer web browser bundled with the Palm Treo 650 smartphone is great for general web surfing. However, it does have its limitations. One of the problems is that Blazer will only download files under 2MB in size. While this makes sense in the old days of 9.6kbps cellular data service, nowadays with EDGE I can get around 100kbps download.

Downloader helps get around that limitation. It allows download of any size (subject to available memory on your Treo) and also supports downloading direct to the external SD card. The user interface is very basic, but it works as advertised.
