Treasuremytext online sms backup

Most of the data on your Palm Treo 650 smartphone gets backed up automatically whenever you perform a Hotsync with your PC or Mac. Even your SMS messages are saved, but there’s no easy way to retrieve individual messages that you’ve deleted. Here’s a novel way to save your SMS (short message service) text messages.

Treasuremytext is a UK company that offers unlimited SMS storage for free. All you need to do is forward your SMS to Treasuremytext’s number. Unfortunately it’s a UK number, so for international users it could be costly. For me, an international SMS only costs RM0.50 (US 13 cents), so it’s still relatively affordable.

Treasuremytext also offers other services such as simple SIM backup, sending SMS from your PC, and SMS on your iPod.
