How easy is it to produce websites that look good on your Palm Treo 650 smartphone or other mobile devices? As it turns out, it’s really just one click away. I tested three services that will automatically convert your existing web sites into a mobile-friendly format. Each of the services acts as a proxy and removes a lot of unnecessary code from your site, resulting in a stripped-down, clean version. All you need to do is enter your URL and click submit.

1. Phonifier is open source, and you can download the source code to install it on your own website as a permanent feature.
2. Skweezer adds a tiny bit of advertising to your mobile site.
3. IYHY doesn’t seem to support images at the moment.

Judge the results for yourself :

TreoToday.net by Phonifier.
TreoToday.net by Skweezer.
TreoToday.net by Iyhy.
